Candlelight Christmas tour - A worthy visit.

点评：We came to Holkham hall Christmas Candlelight self led tour this week.
It was the first time we had been and we came after seeing posts and videos from previous years on You tube.
We traveled from Hertfordshire, and stayed in Fakenham which was close by.
Finding the hall was easy, but the sat nav took us to the Coach parking, so if going, look for the pub 'The Victoria' and you will find the correct car parking.
Anyway, the visit was breath taking, the rooms and displays were so beautifully thought out, with magical themes throughout. The lighting was lovely and serene and there was a glorious Christmasy smell everywhere.
You could take as long as you wanted to walk through the rooms too.
Most of the rooms had lovely sounds and appropriate music in character with that particular room's theme.
We were greeted by beautiful harp music at the beginning as well.
After the tour, we followed it up with a complimentary drink and mince pie.
I would highly recommend this visit, as it's so clever, with so much detail and time spent preparing this magical experience, perfect for Christmas.
