great day out for the family.
The National Tramway Museum - Crich Tramway Village的点评
点评：We found this place accidently from a brochure at a nearby air b and b... so went went along to see what it was all about. We have to say we had a lovely time. It was myself, my mum (recently diagnosed with Parkinsons ) and my 8 year old son. I have my own condition and so I have an access card and me and my mum muddle along supporting each other. We did have a discounted rate due to this. first off the staff and volunteers. They could not have been any nice and more helpful. nothing was too much bother. We were lucky to visit on a beautiful winter day... it was cold but dry and sunny.
There is quite a walk from the entrance to the village itself and my mum's mobility meant she couldnt get up on the trams (they are fundraising for an accessible tram) but we totally understood - these trams are very old and restored beautifully making it totally accessible would be on heck of a job.
We walked slowly down the village and just took our time. We popped into the pub (disabled toilet is here) had lunch in the cafe, which was bonkers busy nut ok priced with an ok menu. We watched the puppet show... it was fab. visited the indoor museum and workshop and the indoor play area.
We then dropped mum back at the car in the warm (there are not many places to sit inside in the warm if you are waiting) and then me and my son hoped on a tram - it was a great experience and the conductor shared some history of the tram etc.
I'd say if you have an interest in trams or have children under say 10 years old then this is a great day out. However I can understand why people think it's expensive for what it is if you dont like trams or have children.
We had a brilliant time though and we will definitely visit again as the tickets we bought allows free return within 12 months.

我想说，如果你对电车感兴趣，或者有10岁以下的孩子，那么这将是一次很棒的体验。但是，如果你不喜欢电车或者没有孩子，我能理解为什么人们觉得它贵。
不过，我们玩得很开心，我们一定会再来的，因为我们买的车票可以在12个月内免费退票。
