Pembroke Castle的点评
点评：Went with my 11 year daughter, got there about 1040. Joined the 11 am free guided tour with Allan. Got to know the complete history of Pembroke Castle with a very knowledgeable gentleman. About 30 people in the group, as we moved around the castle grounds. Really interesting tour. After, we visited all the areas that were open, including climbing the 101 steps to the top of the keep. My daughter loved that part as she ventured all around the walkways and nooks and crannies of the castle. There is also a really interesting exhibition which shows the history of the castle, very professional.
There is a cafe onsite serving teas, coffees, cakes and hot foods. Not cheap but very good quality of food. Good seating area in the cafe or alternative undercover area in the grounds. They serve local icecream as well. There is a shop to buy souvenirs, plenty of choice. Plenty of nearly car parks within 5-8 mins of the entrance.
A thoroughly worthwhile and enjoyable time spent within the castle in a lovely part of Wales. We spent almost 4 hours there.
