Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club的点评
点评：This is a pre-playing review, attended there this week whilst playing a tournament at a nearby course. It is a Premier League standard venue, however, the staff we spoke to were very inviting, friendly and willing to have a chat with us. It has the highest slope rating of any golf course in England (it’s seriously hard), the 1 handicap golfer in our group who gets 1-2 shots generally wherever he plays would get 9 shots playing off the back tees, wow.
The clubhouse is a stunning building and
backdrop to the course, the putting green we saw and the 18th green which is in front of the clubhouse looked like newly laid, smooth carpet (and scary), we didn’t get to look at any of the 167 bunkers that protect the course but from photos they’re definitely the type you try to ‘get out of’ rather than ‘do something clever’ from😱
We didn’t ask the price but would love to attend next year and experience (and get beaten up by) the course, we have no doubts on that
The Ladies Open was held here last week and they were still in the process of taking down the stands and hospitality buildings but the place certainly didn’t look like it had been trampled and battered. I look forward to returning with my clubs🤞🏻
