点评:Saturday 7th June and we visited the Old Town of Antalya, Kaleiçi.
One of the features of the Kaleiçi is this colourful and vibrant maze of streets lined with shops and stalls.
We could almost hear the shelves, racks and display cabinets creaking under the weight of the goods on display.
This included football shirts, t-shirts, handbags, ceramics, sweets, spices, fragrances, light fittings and every imaginable tourist souvenirs. There were an array of carpets and rugs on display.
The area was filled with a lot of Turkish "designer" goods.
Some of the shops had their prices on display while others there were no prices so bartering was the order of the day.
It was a bit of an adventure wandering the streets and listening to the banter from the traders. There was no real hassle, and we did not feel intimidated.
