点评：I booked afternoon tea as a part birthday treat along with friends. We added a tour of the house as we arrived a little earlier than expected. The grounds were beautifully maintained and rather interesting with a few small ascends and took about an hour to navigate. The house is packed with interesting art and artefact and has an authenticity and easy access and took about 45 minutes.
Now then, the highlights: Afternoon Tea was without doubt one of the very best my seasoned and experienced diners had ever had. A great mix of savoury and sweet ( brioche steak sliders, sausage roll slice, quiche, and a leek and potato soup, a variety of fine sandwiches and a series of several cakes crowned with an enormous scone fresh from the oven washed down with some really excellent tea). The Earl Grey was exceptional. But the very best part was the service we received from Dawn. All the staff were smiley, helpful, always looked busy and attentive but Dawn stood out. Her welcome, her guidance and then her service were faultless. Thank you all for a memorable visit.
