点评：Visited yesterday with my elderly mother and sister. From the moment we arrived everyone was friendly and accommodating. There was ample parking. We arrived early in the afternoon as we had booked afternoon tea and this entitled you to free ticket for the gardens. The gardens are well set out especially if you have accessibility issues. The formal garden had mostly gone over with the weather but would be lovely at the correct time. Walking through the beach arch gives a lovely cooling feeling. The trees are magnificent all around and near the fountain. Due to time constraints we were unable to see much more.
The courtyard cafe where afternoon tea was served is so nicely set up. Staff again so friendly especially Dawn who looked after us. I can totally recommend this afternoon tea it is the best we have had and we have sampled a lot. The chef takes pride in what he serves. We were unable to eat everything but were offered take home boxes so that we could enjoy the rest later. I cannot praise this enough and just wished we lived slightly nearer. I recommend anyone who is in the area to visit.
