点评：During this season the train is running a "short" route, as told to me at the reception by a very nice lady, I had also read online there was a " shortened" service due to works that meant the line was disturbed
Well!! £2 will get you literally around the corner to the slate mine museum, that is also CLOSED for refurbishment this year, so the whole thing is pretty pointless, there is a very small childs play area, and a cafe should you still be getting on the train, and the walk back into the town over the water meadow is pleasant enough.
Just be aware the journey at the moment is only about 5 minutes!!!
I'd, have preferred at the reception to have been told I wasnt going to see any of the lake and I probably wouldn't have gone on the train at all, that said £2 isn't alot if you have excited children who want to go on a VERY short chuffa train trip
