Beautiful, peaceful, incredible birdsong, a place of calm and tranquility. Everyone we saw came out smiling!

点评：We arrived at the garden at about 3pm, knowing that it closes at 4.30. we weren't sure if we had allowed enough time but the lady at the ticket office was very kind and reassuring. She explained the time the tea shop and plant sales closed and how long it would take to walk around the garden. We stayed and are so glad we did.
We had a lovely cream tea... )Do have jam as the scones are unsweetened!! ) and tea outside. Really nice. We found there was plenty of time to look round the beautiful, peaceful, gem of a garden. The camellias, primroses, violets and other spring flowers were gorgeous. The lake was lovely. The combination of this and the wonderful birdsong which was so prolific it sounded like the dawn chorus made it feel like a very special place.
It seems to have stayed true to the vision of the founders and brought peace and calm from years of stability. Thanks so much to all those working there. We were truly blessed by it.
