点评：Bodrum Castle contains an excellent overview of land & sea artifacts from Aegean Sea region in general & Bodrum region in particular. Any # of civilizations have ruled this area for the last few thousand years, and various archeological digs have brought up artifacts that eventually ended up here. The buildings themselves are interesting for hundreds of years of history; most of the rooms & towers now hold artifacts specific for a specific time or region. Must see for anyone interested in the history of Europe in general and this part of what's now Turkey in particular.
The many informative placards for each display are in Turkish & English, so they're easy to follow along. Note the displays are spread out among the buildings & levels of this castle, with some steep stair connecting them. Be in shape as you climb your way to the top.
Some of the lager displays cover several underwater wrecks that have been partially restored, along with many of the ship's contents. Your admissions covers entering here as well, so don't discard your ticket after you enter.
