点评：I want to rate this site higher BUT there are two serious flaws. More below.
First, the good. The grounds, the location on the Bosphorous, the Grand Hall (staircases, etc) are impressive and gorgeous. I can tell that's why this is a highly rated site.
However, take a look at my photos. The side rooms are barricaded by plexiglass barriers AND Ropes. The plexiglass prevents you from entering but the ropes, generally 3-5 feet further back prevent you from seeing anything other than a minimal view into almost all of the side rooms. The plexiglass would be enough and I found these minute glimpses shortchanged my visit.
Second, Turks pay about $6 to enter and other nationalities pay $60. I am not a cheap traveler. I support foreign visitors paying more. But this is simply a cash grab.
Given the limited visibility and high price i just think other attractions outweigh this.
