点评:Visited solo, on a Saturday in February, by an ordinary ferry from Istanbul, the Kabatas harbour. Remember to push the stop button, if you take a public bus to there. The ferry trip was a mere 114 TL or so one way, and the cruise, lasting about an hour, was lovely and uncrowded, in relatively mild weather, with good views.
February is obviously a very quiet month & I experienced only very few tourists. Hence I don't recognize the negativity of some reviews here. There were no horsewaggon tours, only a few, rather empty local minibuses. I heard a few horses in a field, that's all. Had an inexpensive tea+fine cake at the white cafe by the harbour, which also has a few grocery stores. Staff were friendly. Visited the poet's museum, which is free, but not as interesting as say Fikret's in Asiyan on the Bosporus. The toilets at the museum are closed to the public.
The absolute highlight was the hike around the island, however. About 5 km in total. Steep at first, go opposite the clock, and then the uppermost park area, about 180 m altitude, and the descent along paths on the north-eastern side are really lovely.
I haven't visited the other islands but will likely come back off season, maybe staying for a couple of nights too on one of them, for the calmness and the nature.
