A Piece of History with Fantastic Views Over Bodrum

点评：We got the water taxi across from our hotel and then walked up to the Bodrum Amphitheatre, which took us around 25 minutes.
There’s no charge to get in, and if you time your visit right you can virtually have the whole place to yourself, which makes the experience even better.
It’s an amazing place to take in some of Bodrum’s history, and the elevated position gives you fantastic views looking out over Bodrum. Definitely worth spending a little time just sitting there, taking in the surroundings and imagining what the amphitheatre must have been like in its heyday.
I’d recommend combining this with a few of Bodrum’s other historical attractions, such as Bodrum Castle, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and Myndos Gate. Put them together and you’ve got a really enjoyable day out exploring the history of the area.
Well worth the walk and definitely one to include while you’re in Bodrum.
