点评:This place is a tourist trap. They tell you it’s a tour strap and boy is it a tourist trap. Meaning this is not a traditional market. It’sbasically souvenir shops that are extremely overpriced and very expensive. The merchandise is the basically the same up-and-down and sideways. Lots of gold jewelry or it looks like gold. I don’t know if it’s gold. Lots of Turkish delight, lots of scarf, places about leather stores, and some other ceramic stuff sprinkled in. But it’s the same thing stall after stall. There are no bargains to be had here. I would suggest going to the side streets to the little shops. I walked out the grand bazaar and got the best price on bowls eight little bowls for five euros where they’re trying to charge me 20 inside the bizarre.
I would personally skip this. I know it’s talked about a lot, but it really is not worth your time. There’s so much more to see here. I would rate the spice market a little better, but still basically a smaller version of the grand bizarre. Taken over by souvenirs from India nothing you see there is made there. Extremely extremely expensive it’s just ridiculous.
