点评：Handel Hendrix House is a house museum that consists of two residences - the house of the famed Baroque composer George Frederic Handel and the flat of one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Jimmy Hendrix.
In the Handel section, you can explore the composer's bedroom, the dining room in which he led rehearsals, the front and back parlours/sitting rooms, and the kitchen. You can also enjoy temporary exhibitions that focus on different aspects of Handel's life and career. Although Handel was German by birth, he spent most of his life in the UK and he lived in this particular house for more than 35 years.
In comparison, Jimmy Hendrix spent less than 2 years in the 23 Brook Street flat that is part of this site, but, nevertheless, this is the most appropriate place in London to celebrate him. The main room where he would have entertained visitors and written music has been restored and you can also enjoy a permanent exhibition that explores his life in 1960s London, his career and his legacy.
Standard tickets to this site cost £14.50, which I think is good value for money if you're interested in either one of these musicians. We didn't have to pay as we got free entry through my Art Fund Pass, otherwise we might not have visited as neither one of us is very musical, so I think we didn't spend more than 45 minutes here.
