Indian Wells Tennis Garden的点评
点评：We regularly go to pro tennis events and had great expectations for IW. Of course, the tennis was amazing, and the location is gorgeous. What impressed us was the parking lot and the bathrooms. That was it. It wasn't easy to get to your seats during changeovers because of how the entrances were designed. Even trying to get through the common areas was hard because of the traffic flow. It's just poorly designed. There really aren't any fun fan extras like selfie walls, games, etc. There weren't many choices for snacks. You're not able to see the players very much off-court compared to other tournaments. Even many of the practice courts can't be viewed. What we found was the tournament wants you just to buy tickets, buy meals and buy merchandise, but they don't even make most of that easy. They aren't going to give you much else to enjoy unless they can charge you for it. We had an issue with a policy change they made halfway through our visit, and no one from the tournament would talk to us. We were shocked at the lack of customer service and how little anyone seemed to care. We heard many complaints from other fans, staff, and volunteers during our week there. We experienced rainouts (goodbye front-row seats) and Nadal pulling out, but that's tennis, so we understand the tournament can only do so much about that. However, they should provide a nice experience for fans and care about customer service. We won't ever go back to IW and have told our tennis friends about our experience and which tournaments we recommend for great fan experiences.
