Riding the train deep into the ground is an amazing experience.

点评：The mine tour was incredible. It's a truly unique experience sitting on the small train and rid9ing deep i to the earth. Every visitor has their own light, so they can spot light the walls and ceiling of the mine as your moving. And your get off the train to explore a 'stope' which is a room that has been fully mined. And you also get off the train top explore the place in the mine where the lifts take the miners and some of the mined minerals out of the mine. We had an excellent guide who explained clearly what we were seeing and the history of the mine. He was also really focused on answering questions. And he was also just fun to talk to and had a good sense of humor. Before and after the mine tour you have the chance to explore the museum which has even more detailed information and examples of the different minerals that were mined. He was also very clear about ho0w they will help anyone who might become uncomfortable when they begin to enter the mine.
