Although one can purchase tickets for various parts of the museum, the General Admission ticket allows one to see the museum in its entirety, which includes the all four towers of the complex, and the 17th-18th century Bastion Tunnels. A family ticket is available as well. Some highlights: try on armour in the Kiek in de Kök tower; learn about the Black Heads military/social organization that functioned as the local militia; have coffee in the Neitsitorn (Maiden’s Tower) in a cafe mostly unchanged since 1980, check out “Endless Coffee Drinking” in the Väravatorn, which features an excellent display on the city’s old coffee shops; see the WW2 air raid shelters and the impressive Museum of Carved Stone in the Bastion Tunnels.
