点评：A small but interesting museum. If you happen to be in Tallinn on the first Sunday of the month, you can visit for free. On Free Museum Sundays, Tallinn City Museum branches are open without admission, but visits must be booked in advance, and registration is done through the website. Information placards are in English as well. It is easy to navigate, and the staff are friendly and pleasant. The exhibitions primarily focus on the formation of Tallinn, the lives of city dwellers through the centuries, and the history of the brotherhood that shaped Tallinn into a prosperous trading city. Some rooms and exhibitions are closed on Free Museum Sundays to manage visitor numbers more easily. That said, it wasn’t too busy at all when I went. I enjoyed my visit and learnt a lot without feeling overloaded with information. You can plan to spend one to one and a half hours here.
