More Than a Trek – An Unforgettable Goechala Experience

点评：We had such a wonderful experience with Limboo Tours & Travels during our Goechala Trek 2026. From the beginning until we returned to Yuksom, everything was very well taken care of.
Sun Hang, the owner, was one of the biggest reasons the trek was so special for us. He is a genuinely warm and caring person, and he looked after our group like family. We were a group from Bangalore, with our youngest trekker being only 14, and he always made sure everyone was comfortable and doing well.
Our stay in Yuksom was clean and comfortable, and the tents and trekking equipment were also well maintained. The whole team was extremely helpful, friendly and hardworking.
What I really appreciated was that Sun Hang was personally involved throughout the trek. He joined us and led from the front, regularly checking on everyone. You could really see that he cared about the group and wanted everyone to have a good experience.
And the food deserves a special mention! The cooks did an amazing job. Preparing fresh, tasty and filling meals in such difficult terrain is not easy, but they managed to surprise us every day.
We also had a buffer day in Yuksom, which the team used really well. They took us around the area and we visited the monastery, which gave us a chance to see a little more of Yuksom instead of only focusing on the trek.
The trek itself was absolutely beautiful. We were lucky with the weather and got some incredible views. Reaching the viewpoint and seeing Kanchenjunga was one of the highlights of the entire trip. We ended up sitting there for more than two hours, just enjoying the view and taking it all in.
One small thing that I will always remember was Sun Hang somehow arranging hot coffee for us at the final point. After trekking in the cold, that cup of coffee felt so good! It was such a simple gesture, but it showed how much attention he paid to the little things.
And then, on our last day, the team surprised us with a cake! None of us expected it, and it was such a lovely way to finish the trek. Moments like these made the trip feel much more personal than just a trekking package.
Overall, our Goechala trek was much more than just a trek. It was a wonderful experience with a great team, beautiful scenery and lots of memorable moments.
