点评：This was a trip of a lifetime - Matt's an incredible guide.
We started off catching "bait" - pink salmon in the 4-7 pound range, bigger than any salmon I've ever caught. That alone was great fun.
After landing about eight or so salmon in an hour, we moved on to the target species - sturgeon.
The bite started out a little slow, forcing us to move around a bit.
Matt clearly knew the river and got us where we needed to be.
Our first sturgeon was about 7 feet, 200+ pounds.
The second was about 8 foot, 300+ pounds, with a 45 inch width.
We landed seven on the day, the others ranging from about 3 to 7 feet.
Fighting these fish is no joke - the 8 footer took about 30 minutes to get to the boat.
And my body aches in muscles I didn't know I had.
