An Outstanding Wood-Fired Sauna Experience

点评：I had often passed this quirky gypsy-caravan-style sauna and wondered what it was like inside. Having finally tried it, I can say the experience exceeded my expectations.
The best comparison is Dr Who's TARDIS: it's much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. There's enough headroom to stand comfortably, and the sauna seats up to eight people.
One of the highlights is the magnificent view of the East Cliffs through a large picture window. The sauna is now parked facing the cliffs, which I actually think is better than the website photos showing it facing the sea. The scenery adds a wonderful sense of space and tranquillity.
The real star, however, is the Harvia wood-fired stove. It produces a wonderfully gentle, enveloping heat and a very pleasant, soft löyly when water is thrown on the stones. The atmosphere feels authentic and relaxing.
My only minor criticism concerns the sauna ladle. Its shape makes it difficult to throw water onto the stones from a distance. A flatter, saucer-shaped ladle would make it easier to create löyly without having to lean forward.
Guests should note that you need to bring your own pefletti (sauna seat cloth) or sauna towel to sit on, as well as a second towel for drying after a shower.
Overall, this was a fantastic sauna experience that comfortably exceeded my expectations, and I would happily return.
