Floors Castle的点评
点评：If you’re looking to see the grandeur of this privately owned and inhabited country home (castle), you’ll find the outside covered in scaffolding for major repairs. If that’s something that will bother you, don’t go now. But if what you’re looking to see the inside of this beautiful, graceful and lovingly maintained castle, please come and enjoy! We’d suggest you start backwards and ask to see the wonderful ten minute video to be educated on the history and the phenomenal positive impact that Floors Castle has on the entire wider community. That helped us understand the importance and significance of this castle.
My only suggestion would be that the staff have more than one chair in each of the visited rooms. There were two of us with mobility issues (making standing difficult) and only one chair. You can get a snack or lunch and even enjoy an ice cream after or during your visit. The grounds lend themselves to a lovely walk and the gardeners take pride in the glorious nature that demands their hard work. Please enjoy this lovely piece of earth.
