Beautiful geese migration!
Fort Whyte Alive的点评
点评：FortWhyte is a wonderful place to visit all year round, but I especially loved visiting during the geese migration in October.
It was such a truly special and amazing thing to see. I had no idea that the geese migration was even a thing until my husband told me about it, and I’m so glad we went.
We arrived before the birds flew back in and listened to a talk in the lecture room first. It was really informative, and the lady giving the talk was so lovely and clearly very knowledgeable.
We then grabbed a hot drink from inside and headed outside to watch the geese. There were fires lit outside, and we took our camping chairs with us, which made it even more enjoyable. Even though it was raining heavily, it was still an absolutely incredible experience and something I think everyone should see at least once in their lifetime.
There are also some beautiful walks around FortWhyte, making it a lovely place to spend a few hours exploring.
The admission fees go towards supporting the charity, so it is definitely worth paying for a ticket and making a donation if you can. There is also plenty of parking, as well as a shop and restaurant on site.
I would definitely recommend FortWhyte, especially during the October geese migration. It was an experience I will never forget.
