Nowhere near as good as it thinks that it is
Windsor Farm Shop的点评
点评：It’s been a while since I visited this underwhelming disappointment of a shop and I returned as I had been reassured that it was better than six years ago.
Good news, it’s not as bad as it was. That wouldn’t have been hard, a pretty low bar to jump. So, this time, staff that clearly didn’t want to be there both in the cafe and the shop. I love disinterested service and someone hovering over a half-eaten plate of (overpriced) cake with the optimistic expectancy that they can get you out of the place and clean up before closing time.
Maybe Sunday afternoon isn’t the best time to go. The meat and deli counters looked beyond tired. Think camp site shop in Dorset. Putting produce in a wooden box doesn’t elevate it to premium status.
Do yourself a favour and go to Waitrose. The cafe is better, the food is higher quality and staff give a damn.
