点评:If you’ve seen the photos of Planty Park and imagined a large, quiet, moody park where you can wander under the trees and forget the city — prepare to adjust your expectations. Planty is barely a park by my standards.
In reality it is more like a narrow green belt circling the Old Town: some trees, patches of grass, a few flowers, and scattered sculptures. There’s a rather large pond that could look nice but when I visited, it was empty of water.
You can sit on a bench, but there are much more peaceful places in Kraków. In Planty you’ll mostly be watching the traffic go by on the busy main streets just beyond the thin tree line. The autumn colors may look lovely in pictures, but in real life, the paths were slippery and sludgy from all the fallen leaves. Overall, it’s more of a green corridor to pass through than a park to escape into.
