One day Puma tour

点评：We did the one day Puma tour with Fabián in December this year. It was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. He picked us up early at 4am to maximise our chance of seeing Puma’s as they are more active at dawn and dusk. His English is excellent, which is nice for novice Spanish speakers. He is very knowledgeable about both Pumas, but also all the other wildlife and the park itself.
He has good relationships with other Puma trackers in the park so they can share information on sightings. He makes sure you are a respectful distance away so you get the best view of the Pumas without disturbing them. He also knows how to track their behaviour.
We had two Puma sightings one in the morning with it walking across a mountain ridge in front of the tours. Then later in the day we had the incredible luck of seeing a 20 minutes old baby guanaco. It’s clear his connections in the park paired with his knowledge enabled us to see this.
He also made us a very tasty lunch, which we had at a beautiful spot overlooking a lake and the Torres.
He then took us out of the park to spot some armadillos, and we managed to see two.
I couldn’t recommend this experience more highly.
