点评：So I booked the ticket through get your guide I didn’t want a guided tour so managed to find a self guided tour package
The cost was £30 each which I didn’t think was too bad there is a coach that picks u up at 9.30am from outside the mecure hotel krakow and roughly 2 hour coach ride to auchwitz and Birkenau however when we got there the tour guide lady advised us it’s just a 30 min stop for refreshments and loo the coach then takes u to Birkenau however when we got off the coach the guide started talking about the camp and what it’s all about which went on for well over 30 mins which was quite lengthy in the cold we then walked to Birkenau however we only ended up being at Birkenau for about 10 mins and then had to get the shuttle bus to Auschwitz as we had to be in there by 2pm otherwise gates were closed
I felt that the time was wasted when she was explaining about the camps to us when we could have utilised the time looking around Birkenau however when we got to Auschwitz it was very interesting
There are plenty of loos around so u don’t need to worry bout that
