After 2 years of renovations...underwhelmed :-(
Kansas Museum of History的点评
点评：This museum has been closed for two years for renovations. I was excited to see it after such an extensive time of work. It's okay, but that's all. The bison is still there. The train and log cabin are still there. However, even after two years, there are displays that are not finished. Many displays are hard to see because the lighting in the museum is poorly structured. One visitor I saw was sitting on the floor of the cowboy displays to see the artifacts and words because it's so dark. There's so much to Kansas and its history. The new museum feels kinda flat and not living up to the potential of this great state. I would expect the museum in the state's capital to do better. It also has an underlying politically liberal bent on several topics and displays. I was looking forward to our visit. And it's a nice facility, but it was also a little underwhelming.
