Appalling Conditions for Their Animals
Sky Top Orchard的点评
点评：Sky Top Orchard is OK as far as what they advertise--they have apples and things to do for the kids, although they could do a lot better to make the place more attractive and interesting. The shopping area/covered barn is nice and they have nice jellies and sauces and decorations for sale. The workers are congenial and the food is very good--I highly recommend the donuts and the hand pie with ice cream and caramel sauce. HOWEVER--we went down to the animal barn and I was appalled. There were various birds in small pens, pacing back and forth. There was no food in any of the pens. There was no clean water. Because Sky Top management has not bothered to level anything on the site, the old and grimy water dishes were sitting askew, with only a little green water in them and further contaminated with dried plant material. The water looked like it had not been changed in days. There was no bedding for the animals, only bare dirt. I would never recommend this place because of the disregard shown for their animals. Sky Top was full of children, and this is the example of care the management chooses to show to those children.
