He is extremely genuine, honest, well experienced, and superb, and charges a very reasonable fare. He took us from Sonmarg Taxi Stand to Zero Point at the official union-approved rate, while many other taxi drivers were quoting ₹10,000–₹13,000, which felt completely unreasonable.
What impressed us most was that he also guided us about common tourist scams and helped us avoid unnecessary expenses. He was transparent from the beginning and quoted only one fixed price—the actual rate as per the taxi union.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sonmarg and Zero Point. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, experienced driver who values honesty over profit, Ashiq Bhai is the right person.
