点评:I'm really surprised with the other reviews. Though I could see how the tour with Evald isn't for everyone. For my group it was perfect. Evald doesn't provide you with a Disneyland tourist experience. He provides you with the opportunity to be part of the Greenland / Kangerlussuaq community. A community of very few people.
He picked us up on time in Madam Blue, his Landcruiser. Yes, the vehicle is a little older and rugged, but the life it lives going up and down the road to the glacier is one that would wear out any car.
On the way out of town we made a couple stops. One to say hello to his friend who was preparing food for the dinner that night in town. The other to treat us with a couple coffees.
Once on the road Evald shared with us his history and the history of the area. He is a genuine and friendly person. After five minutes with him we all warmed up and quickly exchanged our life stories.
Getting to know Evald was equally as much a treat as seeing the glaciers and icecap.
If life ever brings me to Kangerlussuaq again I will without a doubt do the tour with Evald. Maybe this time I won't slip and almost fall into the rushing water!
Thank you Evald!
Evald!
