点评:This is strange place. Zakopane is in a stunningly beautiful part of Poland. And if the weather was more seasonal I am sure my viewpoint would be different. That said the main shopping street aka Krupowki street without the snow is a massive let down. As apart from about a dozen main stream shops. The rest are either selling tourist tat bulk ordered from Temu or restaurants and to be fair some (restaurants) are dammed good. And the snow would of hidden the litter on the floor (fag butts, burger wrappers etc). But as we went in the hottest December for years, it reminded me of a busy provincial town that needs to employ some street cleaners rather than the winter wonderland we were hoping for. As a side note, if visiting in December unless you really like crowds don't go at the weekend as you will get up close and personal total strangers.
