Scarefest visit 19th -21st October
奥尔顿塔的点评
点评：I just thought I’d give my honest review as a pass holder and guest over the scarefest period .
The hotel as always was warm and welcoming we stayed at the Alton towers hotel I phoned ahead to insure 2 single beds for my adult sons as the bunk beds are not adequate for adults and also a lake view which was given so a big tick on that score , breakfast which please book ahead to get the time you want was as always cooked and ell and piping hot we go around 8am .
Now on to the park the monorail was operating so a tick there although as a guest of the hotel you can take the short walk through the pathway behind the monorail to Forbidden valley all the rides here operated throughout our stay . The sky ride slough I hate it lol was also open throughout our stay .
All ride areas were open though throughout our 3 days Thirteen and Rita were not open so made that whole area of the park a waste of time walking to which is really bad at the busiest time of the year ( come on Merlin get your act together ) the stalls and street food vendors were of course open in this area .
The scare mazes were amazing so well worth doing and I will say the fish and chips were fabulous too behind the tavern .
All in all a great time was had by myself husband and son .

这家酒店依旧温暖宜人，我们入住的是奥尔顿塔斯酒店。我事先打电话预订了两张单人床，因为双层床对成年人来说实在不合适；另外我还要求了湖景房，也如愿以偿了，这一点必须点赞。至于早餐，建议大家提前预订心仪的用餐时间，食物一如既往地美味可口且热气腾腾；我们通常在早上8点左右去用餐。接下来是游乐园，单轨列车也在运行，这一点值得加分。不过作为酒店客人，我们也可以沿着单轨列车后方的步道步行一小段路前往禁区山谷。我们在入住期间，这里的所有游乐设施都正常开放。那个空中缆车——我讨厌它，哈哈——在我们逗留期间也一直开放着。所有游乐设施都开放了，不过在我们停留的三天里，“Thirteen”和“Rita”这两个项目始终没有开放，导致我们白白浪费时间在那个区域散步——这在一年中最热闹的时节实在糟糕透顶（拜托，默林集团，好好改进一下吧）。当然，该区域的摊位和街头食品摊贩都正常营业。
那些恐怖主题迷宫简直棒极了，绝对值得体验；我还要说，酒馆后面卖的炸鱼薯条也美味至极。
总的来说，我和丈夫以及儿子都度过了非常愉快的时光。
