点评:Went with my daughter and granddaughter and was looking forward to an interesting day out. Granddaughter (aged 8) is very interested in all things science related and was looking forward to learning new concepts/ ideas.
Cost c£75 for the three of us to get in (you do get an annaul pass but to be honest that wont get much use). The sign posing is poor and its not obvious what you can/ need to do. There was no briefing/ info at the payment desk.
There are four zones (fire/ water/ air/ earth).
Fire is basically a 'demo' of a furnace being fired up (last about 10 mins) which was quite good.
Water as just some basic water games moving water etc. There was no learning to be had - really aimed at under 5 s
Air - was a bit more interesting but again was just a number of 'games' using air, without any learning/ explanation - again aimed at young kids
Earth- was a sand pit, three diggers and a wheelbarrow
We were in the place just over 1hr .15 mins from start to finish. All three of us thought it was basically a serious of very simple games aimed at very young children. It was similar to Ureaka (in Halifax) but even more basic
