点评:If you every grew up with any Nintendo device, this museum is for you. Pure nostalgia heaven.
Please remember to book your ticket in advance. You cannot buy tickets at the door (as one trio of tourists found out). Also remember to BRING YOUR PASSPORT (which I didn't do but thankfully I had a photo of it in my smartphone).
At the front you get to claim ticket, which is a card with 10 coins stored (a bit more of that later). You take an escalator to the 2nd floor, where you find the exhibits - every single product Nintendo has every produced, from the playing cards when they first started in the 19th century up to the present day with the Nintendo Switch 2. Alongside there are the games Nintendo product (so there are no games of other companies such as Konami, etc.). You even get to experience the short-lived Virtual Boy. What is disappointing are that NO PHOTOS ARE ALLOWED on the 2nd floor.
Once you spent an hour or two reminiscing, you can head down to the 1st floor interactive area. Here is when your coins come into play. There are various activities, ranging from one to four coins, which you can participate in. From just playing 7 minutes of your favourite old game (yes, including the original Mario Kart on Super Famicom / SNES). to playing a large version of Duck Hunt with Mario characters. You can later download your record or photos of some of the activities from the account you set up when purchasing the museum entrance.
