点评：The Nintendo Museum is a really enjoyable visit, and we happily spent a couple of hours exploring it.
It’s fair to say this experience will mainly appeal to Nintendo fans — but realistically, who else is making the journey? For fans like us, the museum is a genuine treat. Seeing the history of Nintendo’s characters, games, hardware, and even the building itself is quietly fascinating and very well presented.
There are several interactive elements throughout the museum, and we tried a handful of them. They’re light-hearted, well designed, and simply good fun rather than overly demanding or gimmicky. It all feels playful in a way that suits Nintendo perfectly.
The on-site shop is also good, though it slightly missed a trick for me. Much of the merchandise leans towards Nintendo consoles rather than specific games or characters. I would have loved to indulge my Pikmin fascination a little more. That said, it’s still an enjoyable browse and hard to leave empty-handed.
We didn’t visit the café or restaurant, so can’t comment on that side of the experience.
Overall, if Nintendo has been part of your life — whether since childhood or more recently — this museum is well worth your time. It’s thoughtful, fun, and clearly made with affection for the company’s history.
