A really enjoyable experience
Tomfoolery Wines的点评
点评：We visited the Tomfoolery cellar door with friends who live in the Barossa (this is one of their favourite wineries) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The tasting space is quaint without feeling cramped, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. There are plenty of tables and seating options, making it comfortable for multiple groups to enjoy tastings at the same time.
The staff were a standout — energetic, friendly, and clearly passionate about both Tomfoolery’s wines and the broader Barossa region. Their enthusiasm made the tasting feel personal and enjoyable, and they were more than happy to share stories, knowledge, and recommendations.
One thing to note is the generous tasting list. With around 15–20 wines available, this isn’t a quick stop. The variety is fantastic, and while everyone’s tastes differ, we found ourselves enjoying most of what we tried. On the occasions where a wine wasn’t to our liking, there was absolutely no issue — we simply moved on to the next pour.
We would recommend visiting Tomfoolery for anyone visiting the Barossa Valley who appreciates good wine, genuine hospitality, and a relaxed cellar door experience.
