Sandwich Bay 4x4 trip - An unforgettable experience with a great guide

点评：Organised for us by our superb accomodation in Swakopmund (Guesthouse Fischreiher), everything about this trip was superb. We were picked up at the appointed time from the guest house and driven down to Walvis Bay to meet up with our guide for the day.
Even the first part of the drive down to Walvis Bay was great, but once we got down to the *real* dunes, the fun really began.
From exciting and somewhat scary dashes along the beach, only pausing as the waves broke in front of the vehicle, to roller coaster like driving up, down and across the dunes and near vertical descents down the biggest dunes - we didn't know whether to laugh, cry or scream! We gathered our breath at the top of a huge dune overlooking Sandwich Bay before heading to our picnic lunch spot (with bubbly, beer and soft drinks provided). Then back to Walvis Bay with some more dune riding thrown in.
Just one of our amazing days in amazing Namibia!
