点评：Just Just returned from a wonderful holiday to Bournemouth. The hotel however, in our opinion, is badly situated for those with mobility issues, as it is on a hill, ( we had been wrongly informed by a friend that it was in a “slight incline “) This made getting into the town centre on our free days difficult so we used a local taxi firm. Other guests hired mobility scooters.
However, saying that, we cannot fault the Hotel and its staff. We had a beautiful large room on the ground floor which looked out onto the gardens. All the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, so too was the manager and assistant manager who were hands on in the dinning room.
Our driver Jenny was exceptional, always met us with a smile on her face and was very knowledgeable about the area. She even managed to keep her cool when she was verbally abused by one of our fellow passengers, who was 20 minutes late back to the coach on our trip to Weymouth. We were shocked at the language that the passenger used towards Jenny.
All in all, yet another very enjoyable Alpha Holiday and already planning next years…… a return trip to Great Yarmouth !
