Our favourite winery in Napa, made even better by Rob

We visited Bouchaine as part of our honeymoon and it was, without question, our favourite winery in Napa.
The wines were excellent, with the Hyde Chardonnay being the standout for us. The estate itself is beautiful, peaceful and a lovely place to spend an afternoon, but what really made the experience was our host, Rob.
Rob was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and genuine. He made the tasting feel relaxed and personal, taking the time to chat with us and making us feel right at home. Great wine is one thing, but great people are what make an experience memorable, and Rob absolutely did that.
To top it all off, after our visit we emailed to ask if there was anywhere in Downtown Napa we could buy a bottle of the Hyde Chardonnay before heading home. Not only did the team reply almost immediately, but Rob picked up the email chain and incredibly offered to deliver the wine to our hotel himself. That level of customer service is so rare and completely unexpected.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're visiting Napa, make Bouchaine a priority. Fantastic wines, a beautiful property and exceptional hospitality. Thank you, Rob and the whole Bouchaine team, for helping make our honeymoon even more special.
