Our new go to campground on Table Rock
Table Rock State Park的点评
点评：My siblings and I have been camping at a COE property on Table Rock Lake our entire lives (and we are old 😂). We decided to take an early fall (mid September) camping trip and our usual COE was closed for the season so my husband and I booked a non electric campsite and some of our family members booked a Yurt at Table Rock State Park.
We were in site 284 in Loop 2 and it was great. Nice and shaded, plenty of parking and real estate and easy access to a beautiful, quiet cove for swimming. We did not have kayaks with us this trip but definitely would have used the had we brought them along.
Showers and restrooms were clean and well maintained. Water was hot with good pressure.
We were not far from the Yurts which made it easy to hang out with our family. They absolutely loved the Yurt. It had all the conveniences they were looking for with the easy access to enjoying the lake.
We also rented a pontoon boat from the state park marina one day. We do this almost every year and it’s always a great experience. Being the end of the season our boat showed a lot of wear and tear but it was sound and reliable. We enjoyed our day immensely.
We are already talking about staying here again late next summer. As much as we have nostalgic feelings about our usual COE campground the convenience and amenities at the State Park will likely win out going forward.
