Amarilla Golf的点评
点评：We played Amarilla end of January. After the reviews warning us I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the course was. The course played a little on the slow side (not as bad as GDS) and we were done in about 4:20-30 for a 4 ball. Which could be better, but acceptable.
Course and greens were in fine fettle, but with a few construction zones for flats in parallel with the course which interfered a bit on the 11th with a metal fence. Standout holes were the 8th along the waters edge.
Driving range could have done with tees, but was ok I guess. Probably the worst part of the course, but still usable for Irons and woods off the deck.
Near the airport and does suffer from occasional noise, but nothing that would spoil a round.
condition was better than GDS, with Fairways lush and green, and Greens firm and well maintained.
Clubhouse nice, but lacks a hole to look over. 18th finishes nearby, but hidden away from sight.
Would play again. Reviews I feel a little unkind. I would say on par with a Torrequabrada quality course.
