点评:I usually visit the state history museum in any given state - much like the capitols; maybe 30 so far. This is upper tier; top 15% maybe. Both kids and adults will enjoy - though the school trips during my weekday visit breezed through (rather rambunctiously, but then they were gone) without absorbing anything - waste of a field trip. These places generally rely a lot on diorama type exhibits, but here you got a little more complex walk down main street, and thoughtfully recreated house interior, etc. There's a mezzanine level almost missed; should have paid more attention at the desk. Parking in museum lot is gated and I assume not free. You can actually park on side street- read signs - and it isn't much of a walk to get to the entrance. Only $8 and well worth it as a survey / educational tool
