点评：We stayed two nights in the large family home at Glenshane Country Farm
, and it was immaculate—spotless, spacious, and so comfortable that we wished we could have stayed longer.
What sets this stay apart is Jamese's passion for his craft. It wasn't just a tour; it was a fascinating look at the skill and craftsmanship behind a working sheep farm. Jamese is an engaging teacher who clearly loves sharing the history of his family's farm. Watching him work with his incredibly skilled dogs was a masterclass in handling, and we loved getting 'up close and personal' with the different sheep breeds they keep as pets. We even got to hold baby lambs and see the traditional tools used for shearing.
To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious, homemade lunch prepared by the family using locally sourced ingredients. Dining in their beautiful, scenic area was the perfect end to our visit. We also fell in love with their dog, Boss—if he could have fit in our suitcase, he might have just come home with us!
What surprised me even more was that all experiences are private, with no large crowds or squeezing around people to get a good look at the demo. Just your group! Whether you stay the night or just visit for the experience, this is a must-do in Northern Ireland. We would recommend it to everyone!
