Planet Hollywood的点评
点评：First, our server was Lou. He was new and training by himself with us. So he took good care of us, and we took good care of him. Outside of the service and the friendliness of our waiter, planet Hollywood is just not worth it. There are tons of spots where you can eat around Disney Springs. We came here because we had $100 in gift cards to plan at Hollywood. When we went to pay at the end, our new waiter said that we can’t use discounts on top of a gift card which doesn’t make sense. He explained, and when we spoke to the manager afterwards, he reiterated the same thing. Apparently, if you get a “” gift card or some kind of reward, you are not able to use any discounts with that. So they do not act like gift cards. We had a coupon for $10 off of $30 purchase that was not accepted. We had a Disney annual pass holder with us and they would not take that discount either. I was told this is a new policy that just started earlier in the week. How convenient for us That the resort and Planet Hollywood both had different things to say about it.
The restaurant opened at 11:30. We had a reservation for 12. We sat at our table put in our drink orders and didn’t get our food until one hour and 18 minutes later. We had three kids with us four adults. We ordered burgers and fries. That is very disappointing for a big name chain restaurant. It was expensive food, but nothing outstanding. And to be honest, the ambience with the Hollywood memorabilia was lackluster.
Again, it’s not about the food. You should expect to pay a lot of money if you’re in the area. It was more about the very long wait and the gift card not being registered as a form of payment gift card.
