Lost Shore Surf Resort的点评
点评：Another terrible experience at ‘Lost Shore Canteen’. Order placed for food which arrived eventually in two deliveries. Second delivery arrived 30 minutes after the first. Which meant half the table had finished their food before the other half was fed. Food was poor quality. The pizza was burnt and like cardboard. We sent back to kitchen and asked for another. We had to chase the new order with staff and eventually did arrive. Start to finish the service element took almost 2 hours for all food to be served. Other experiences at ‘Lost Shore’ have included no chips available, no white wine available, no gas in the beer and early (unadvertised) closing times. For example, we booked a table on Christmas Eve 2025. The booking was verified by Lost Shore and email received saying ‘looking forward to seeing you’. However, when we pitched up (early) with our family for a nice Christmas Eve evening we were told the kitchen was closed and the staff were going home at 3.30pm. Disappointed children and adults. Staff seem to do their best but it seems the place is now run on a shoe string budget which includes some eateries not being open and a skeleton staff deployment.
I do think the surfing element of the business is good and have heard many positive comments from those that have surfed there.
However the canteen is terrible. Overpriced. Inconsistent quality of food. Inconsistent closing times. Lack of staff. Cleanliness of toilets.
I understand a new manager was employed fairly recently. So far things have not improved and the manager most definitely has his work cut out for him.
This review has been sent to Tartan Leisure who own the business.
