Highland cow experience (not).

点评：VERY disappointed. Paid £182 for 5 of us to do the 'Highland Cow experience'.
Because there was 5 of us when booking we had to wait 2 months for a slot.
I thought it was an exclusive experience it is nothing of the sort.
I paid extra for 'the farm' thinking it was separate. But when you get there you walk past the few farm animal pens to get to Highland Cows. Then you wait by a sign and a member of staff comes along (doesn't call you by name just 'group of 5?) then points you to 2 cows behind a fence 'go say hello and I'll be with you in a min' comes back with 1 bowl of dried grass and some skanky brushes and we feed them through the high fence (I didn't there wasn't enough food) and get to brush them, again through fence.
Then we move on to 4 other cows and just stand by a fence while the 'expert' tells us a bit about cows.
Apart from the info, the grass and the brushes ALL visitors can see and get as close to the cows as we did! In fact a large family came along and started asking our expert questions and stroking the cows while we were on our 'experience'.
I emailed them and said all of above and suggested cows had a separate fence so people who had paid for the extra got closer to the animals. They didn't agree and said the other visitors don't get an expert (obviously we could have googled the info anyway) food and brush. However they did say they would take my comments on board.
I'm so annoyed with myself for reading their website wrongly - it gave me the impression its was a unique experience.
Paying for 5 of us was a big mistake! I honestly thought if I didn't pay for all of us my grandchildren would be taken off and I wouldn't see them enjoy meeting the cows so I paid for us all.
If you want to see Highland cows simply pay to get into the farm!
P.S. The toilets are portable loos 🤢

除了这些信息外……草地和刷子——所有游客都能看到，也能像我们一样近距离接触奶牛！事实上，在我们进行“体验”的过程中，有一大家子人也来了，他们向我们的向导提问，还抚摸奶牛。
我给他们发邮件说了以上情况，并建议为购买了额外服务的游客设置单独的围栏，以便他们能更靠近这些动物。但他们不同意，还称其他游客也理应获得专业讲解员以及食物和刷子。不过他们确实说会采纳我的意见。
我真懊恼自己误读了他们的网站——它让我误以为这是一次独一无二的体验。
为我们五个人付费实在是个大错特错的决定！说实话，我以为如果不为我们所有人付费，我的孙辈们就会被拒之门外，我也没法看到他们开心地和奶牛们互动，所以才一股脑儿把费用都付清了。
如果你想看高地牛，直接花钱进入农场就行了！
附言：那里的厕所是移动式厕所啊🤢。
