A real surprise awaits you in the BP car park!
Alive Sauna & Ice Baths的点评
点评：I only live five miles away but had never heard of this place so wasn't expecting much, as my friends and I had just had a lovely experience at the Turkish Baths in Harrogate, which were super-fancy.
Alive is tucked away in the corner of the BP car park in Sully, which is not a promising start, but as soon as we walked in we coiuld see it was going to be great.
The site is enclosed to make you feel as though you're somewhere much nicer. The sauna is big and clean and VERY efficient, and there are four cold water baths and one ice plunge pool (all open air) if you're brave enough.
James is welcoming and times the session of sauna/cold so that you get three of each in the 45 minutes you pay for.
The view of the Bristol Channel is about as good as it could be from the BP car park!
We all agreed that the basic sauna/plunge pool experience was superior to Harrogate, where the surroundings were gorgeous but the pool was definitely not cold enough. We all felt so relaxed for the rest of the day.
What a lovely surprise to find this on my doorstep and at £15 per person I will be returning with friends. A lovely experience to share.
