点评：We traveled to Indonesia in December (rainy season), and had the most incredible trip with Sam. Before we got to Indonesia we gave him a list of places we wanted to see, a couple hotels we had in mind, and the amount of time we had available. He sent us a detailed itinerary before we arrived and coordinated all of our tours/tickets for us.
He picked us up as planned at the airport and we spent the next few days on a road trip with Sam around East Java. We visited Kapas Biru Waterfall, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Mount Bromo, and the Blue Lake at Ijen Crater. If you have a little more time than we did, you can also go farther West to see some of the beautiful temples. At each place Sam set us up with very knowledgeable, local tour guides and on our drives between villages he taught us about Indonesia and was such a nice person to spend the week with. We spent some time talking about the local coffee on one of our drives and he surprised us with a stop at a coffee roaster on our way back to Surabaya! He also had good food recommendations in between villages for the long drives, one of our favorites was Omah Kayoe and some breakfast pastries he recommended on the first morning. No matter where you go it will be delicious!
If we had the chance to do this trip again, I would want to do it with Sam through Malang Tourist Driver and Tour. We couldn’t have done this trip without him! Highly recommend!!
